In a poll released today, Missouri State has cracked the top-25 in the CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major Poll. The men's team is ranked 14th, while the women are 20th.
On the season, the men and women are both 2-2 in dual meets this season. The victories came at home against Lindenwood University and on the road against Truman State University.
This poll comes on the heels of the Missouri State victory at the Delta State Christmas Invite. The men were on top of the leader board for the entire meet, but the women took the lead on the final day to win the meet. This was the first invitational win for either team this season. The only other invite for Missouri State was the Purdue Invitational, where the men finished fifth and the women were sixth.
The Bears will take some time off to recuperate before returning to action on Jan. 7-8 at the Tunica Invitational. This will be the final invitational meet for Missouri State this season.
