Volleyball Fundraiser Scheduled For January 23

SPRINGFIELD -- The Missouri State volleyball program will have a fundraising event on January 23, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Battlefield Lanes in Springfield.
Fans interested in helping out the volleyball Bears can contact Brian Dixon at dixon33207@aol.com, or can fill out information cards at the Bears’ Nov. 19 and 20 matches at Hammons Student Center. Those cards will be entered in a drawing for a flat screen TV.
The bowling event in January is designed to raise money for the volleyball Bears by having a team bowl in each of the 32 lanes at Battlefield Lanes. Each team member will be responsible for raising a portion of the entry fee, or teams can be sponsored. All proceeds will benefit the volleyball program.
