The Missouri State men's soccer team (1-1-0) will travel to Conway, Ark., on Sunday, September 13, for a 3:00 p.m. match against Central Arkansas (2-1-0).
Missouri State last played on Saturday, defeating UMKC 3-1 at Plaster Field. Ryan Hennessy, Heath Melugin and Paul Paradise each scored in the Bears victory over the Kangaroos.
Missouri State is 2-1-0 against UCA all-time including a 2-1 win at Plaster Field last season. Melugin scored two goals in the Bears win over UCA in 2008.
Central Arkansas is set to join the Missouri Valley Conference in men's soccer beginning next season.
"It will be a good test for us on Sunday," said head coach Jon Leamy. "Central Arkansas joins the MVC next season, so we are treating it like it's a conference match."
Missouri State will return home on Wednesday, September 16 to host Centenary College (La.) at Plaster Field with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
