After stating its 2009 spring season 2-0, the Missouri State men’s soccer team has announced an additional spring exhibition doubleheader at Rolla, Mo. featuring host Missouri S&T and William Woods on Apr. 17.
Missouri State head men’s soccer coach Jon Leamy and his staff announced that the Bears will travel to Rolla, Mo. for a double header on Apr. 17. The Bears will face Missouri S&T in the first game followed by a match against William Woods University. Game times have not been determined and will be announced at a later date.
The Bears have gotten off to a perfect start this spring with victories over Missouri S&T and University of Central Arkansas. The original contest between the Bears and Miners on Saturday Feb. 28 was postponed due to a winter storm. The two finally faced off on Friday Mar. 6 at Plaster Field. The Bears took the victory 1-0 for their first of the spring season.
Missouri State continued its winning ways as they played host to the UCA Bears on Saturday Mar. 14. MSU recorded the decisive victory 4-0 at Plaster Field to push their spring exhibition record to 2-0 this season.
