Senior diver Chelsea Ray (Anchorage, Alaska) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week. This is Ray's second consective Diver of the Week award.  She earned the honor for her efforts at the Purdue Invitational.

Ray and the Bears competed in the Purdue Invitational on Nov. 20 and 21.  Among the top divers in the country, Ray managed to score a 192.65 on the 1-meter board and a 248.55 on the three-meter board.  Her scores in the high board earned her an eighth-place finish against powerhouses such as Ohio State, Purdue and Michigan.  Last season, Purdue was the NCAA team champion in diving.
