ORU’s Shakira Duncan scored on a breakaway goal from 5 yards in the 7th minute for the only goal of the game as the Golden Eagles defeated the Missouri State women’s soccer team, 1-0, Friday night at Plaster Field. Missouri State out-shot the Golden Eagles, 18-7, and had many serious scoring threats, but failed to find the back of the net.
