Missouri State senior forward Kate Blair was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic-All District VII women’s soccer team.
To be eligible for the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District award, student-athletes must own a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 and be a significant contributor to their team.
Blair owns a 3.88 grade point average as a marketing management major and has made great contributions to the Missouri State women’s soccer team. Blair is only one goal shy of holding the top spot in the Missouri State record books with nine game-winning goals. Her 15 total goals currently ranks 5th in school history.
Earning second team All-MVC accolades in 2006 and All-MVC honorable mention in 2004, Blair has become a four-year starter for Missouri State this season.
Blair and the rest of the Missouri State women’s soccer team will travel to Des Moines, Iowa to challenge Drake University in the first round of the State Farm MVC Championship on Sunday, Nov. 4. at 1:00 p.m.
