The Missouri State women's swimming and diving team dominated John Brown 50-35 on Thursday in Siloam Springs, Ark. The Bears claimed wins in nine of ten events.
MSU began the dual with a victory in the 200 medley relay. Francy Palma, Stacey MacDonald, Fran Moody, and Matana Wellman combined for a winning time of 1:53.45.
Cara Belcher added the second win for the Bears on the evening in the 50 freestyle in a time of 26.40. MacDonald posted wins in the 200 IM and 500 freestyle in a times of 2:18.77 and 5:29.75, respectively.
Moody and Wellman had a one-two finish in the 100 butterfly with Moody pulling in the first-place win in 1:02.86 and Wellman finishing in 1:03.80.
Stacey Pashea was the event champion in the 100 freestyle, touching the wall in 1:04.47. Andrea Gerbrand rounded out the individual wins for the Bears, finishing first in the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:14.64.
Missouri State ended the meet with a win in the 800 freestyle relay with Wellman, Moody, Betsy Solari, and MacDonald teamming up for a time of 8:39.49.
