Missouri State's Stacey Arkovich was named the Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week for the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 6, the league office announced Wednesday.

Arkovich, a senior from Ames, Iowa, won both the one-meter diving and three-meter diving in a double-dual meet against Lindenwood and Vincennes, on Dec. 3. She posted a score of 225.40 on the one-meter and a score of 266.20 on the three-meter board.

Arkovich's victories helped the Bears' women's swimming and diving team to double victories at the meet, improving its dual meet record to 5-4.

The Missouri State men's and women's swimming and diving teams will be back in action Saturday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m., in Cleveland, Miss., for the Delta State Christmas Invitational, a three day event.
