Senior distance runner, Jessica Allen shattered the Missouri State 3,000-meter outdoor track and field record, at the John McDonnell Invitational. Allen recorded a first place finish in the event with a 9:41.32 time. Allen outpaced the previous school record by six seconds and finished ahead of the next competitor by 10 seconds.
