Danielle Gitzen needed only 13 field goal attempts to pile up 32 points (2.46 points per shot) in two Missouri State wins, averaging 16 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals per game with a stellar 21-for-22 showing at the foul line. Friday, the sophomore tallied a career-high 20 points – including 14 in the fourth quarter – to lead the Lady Bears past Indiana State. Gitzen grabbed seven rebounds and shot 13-for-14 from the charity stripe against ISU, including making all 10 tries in the final 2:07 of the game to thwart a Sycamore comeback. Sunday versus Loyola, she was a perfect 8-for-8 at the line, finishing with three boards, three assists and three steals while extending her double-figure scoring streak to five games with 12 points.
