This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State men's soccer's Fumiya Shiraishi. Senior forward Fumiya Shiraishi had a career week for Missouri State men's soccer, scoring three goals and two assists in two matches. Shiraishi scored the game-winning goal against Creighton with 50 seconds left in the match to secure the 1-0 win at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City. Shiraishi was the tone-setter in Missouri State's 7-0 blowout over Northern Illinois on Sunday, scoring two goals to bring his season total to four and notching two assists each within the final seven minutes of the match.
