This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State men's golf's Max Kreikemeier. Missouri State's Max Kreikemeier was named Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golfer of the Week after winning medalist honors last Tuesday (Mar. 19) at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate. The senior from Chesterfield, Mo. shot 70-66-70--206 in three trips around Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield to tie with Jackson Drake of Oral Roberts after 54 holes, then birdied the second playoff hole for his second collegiate title. Kreikemeier is a three-time all-conference performer and currently ranks third on the team with a 72.70 scoring average. This marks the fifth time in his career he's been named Valley Golfer of the Week.
