This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State women's basketball's Lacy Stokes. Lady Bear transfer Lacy Stokes recorded a season-high 21 points as she helped lead Missouri State to a 72-65 win over Wichita State on Saturday afternoon. She led all scorers after going 6-for-10 from the field, 2-for-3 from three-point range and 7-for-12 at the charity stripe. The junior rounded out her performance with four rebounds, three assists and a steal. In a second-half comeback for the Lady Bears, Stokes scored 15 second-half points and iced the game as she went 7-for-12 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter. The game marked her fifth double-figure scoring performance of the season in seven games and her first 20-point outing as a Lady Bear.
