This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State women's basketball player Sydney Wilson. Wilson, a fifth-year senior, became the 31st Lady Bear in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points with an eight-point, 11-rebound performance at Belmont last Friday night. Following a 12-point outing two days later in MSU’s win at Murray State, Wilson now ranks 30th all-time in the MSU record books with 1,017 points in her career. The Overland Park, Kan. native continues to add to her win total, as she sits at 109 career victories, ranking second in Lady Bear history. Across the week, she averaged 10 points and seven rebounds per game while etching her name amongst the greats in the history of the Lady Bear program.
