This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State volleyball's Lindsay Lahr after her weekend performances against Murray State and Belmont. Lahr filled the stat sheet with averages of 1.63 kills on .393 hitting, 1.75 blocks, 1.0 aces, 3.5 points and 0.75 digs per set while helping the MSU defense hold the opposition to a combined .139 hitting percentage. Friday against Murray State, the Leawood, Kan., native became the first MVC player since at least 2007 to record six aces and six blocks in a match, adding seven kills on .312 hitting. Saturday, she hit .500 with six kills while recording a career-high eight blocks in a sweep of Belmont, serving two more aces to finish the weekend with eight and no errors at the service line. She also earned Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors for her efforts.
