In his first appearance of the season, Missouri State's feature back carried 13 times for 100 yards to lead all players in the Bears hard-fought loss to No. 11 UCA. Wilson became the first MSU player in more than two years to rush for 100 yards in a game, last done by Jason Randall vs. Northern Arizona on Sept. 15, 2018. He helped set a blistering pace in the first half for Missouri State with 98 yards on 10 carries (9.8 yards per carry), including a 9-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter. In just the 10th career game for the oft-injured, third-year performer, Wilson's impact for the Bears was undeniable in establishing a running game that racked up 176 ground yards on the night.
