Noah Sturgeon

Former Missouri State cheer squad member Noah Sturgeon was hired as head cheer coach for the Bears in June 2024.

Originally from the Kansas City area, Sturgeon cheered at MoState from 2019-21 and was part of the Bears team that won the 2021 Universal Cheerleading Association virtual national championship. He also cheered two years at Iowa Western Community College and concluded his cheer career at the University of West Georgia.

Since then, he has served a variety of roles as a professional choreographer and spent the past two years as assistant cheer coach at Blue Springs (Mo.) High School. He has also served as a certified instructor for the Universal Cheerleaders Association for five years, providing skill instruction for the high school and college levels.
