Megan Won

Megan Won joined the Missouri State Athletic Medical and Rehabilitation Services staff as a full-time assistant athletic trainer in July 2022. She oversees the health care for the Missouri State women’s basketball and softball programs.

Before returning to Springfield, Won served as an assistant athletic trainer at Kansas State University. While at KSU, she provided medical coverage for injury prevention, treatment, post-surgery rehabilitation and maintenance programs for multiple sports, while also serving as the clinical supervisor for athletic training master’s students. 

Prior to her stint at Kansas State, Won served as the head athletic trainer for the CarShield Collegiate League and was a MLB and MiLB rehab intern with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. She also spent time as an athletic trainer with California State University – Fresno and the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League. 

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Won earned her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Missouri State in 2017 before obtaining her master’s degree in Athletic Training from MSU in 2019. She served as an athletic training graduate assistant while studying at MSU, working with the men’s and women’s golf teams as well as women’s tennis. She is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
