Adam Geiger joined the Missouri State Athletic Medical and Rehabilitation Services staff as a full-time assistant athletic trainer in August 2025. He oversees the health care for the Missouri State women’s basketball program.
He moves just down the street after working at Mercy and serving as the athletic trainer for Evangel University since May 2023. During his time at Evangel, Geiger served the men's and women's soccer and men's and women's basketball programs.

Prior to his time in Springfield, Geiger held stints at Rock Valley Physical Therapy in Davenport, Iowa (2021-2023) and Performance Physical Therapy in Westport, Conn. (2017-2021). At both stops, he worked as an athletic trainer for local high schools and was named the athletic training lead for Davenport Public Schools.
Geiger graduated from Western Illinois in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training.
