Michaela Crall joined the MSU staff in June 2019 after spending the last two years as a women’s basketball graduate assistant at Northwest Missouri State, where she combined the roles of assistant coach and director of operations while earning a Master’s Degree in applied health and sport services in May 2019.
Crall’s duties in Maryville included scouting, team travel and academic oversight, as well as coordinating summer camps for the Bearcats.
A native of Olathe, Kan., Crall spent her undergraduate years at Wisconsin, where she began coaching after injuries cut her playing career short. Crall played parts of three seasons for the Badgers before transitioning to the role of undergraduate assistant coach her fourth year, when she helped with film breakdown and scouting, player skill development, office administration, and operations. She graduated from UW with a sociology degree concentrating on analysis and research in 2017.
Coach Mox on Crall:
“I am thrilled to have Michaela on our staff! She is extremely organized, proactive, and a forward thinker, all qualities you need in that position. She has experience at all levels as she played at Wisconsin and was the director of operations and coached at Northwest Missouri State. She has great presence and will be a wonderful role model for our players.”
