David Myckowiak

David Myckowiak

After spending three seasons with Coach Mox and the Michigan State women’s basketball program as an undergraduate, David Myckowiak came to Missouri State as the Lady Bears' graduate assistant and video coordinator in June 2019.

Myckowiak served as the Spartans’ head manager and video intern during the 2018-19 season, overseeing a 13-person student manager group and providing support to the full-time coaching staff by coding and cataloging film. He also provided day-to-day support during practices and games, and spent time as the program’s interim video coordinator at the beginning of his senior year.

Myckowiak worked for three and a half years with the Big Ten Network’s Student U program as a cameraman, utility, and replay operator for numerous sporting events aired on Big Ten Network or streamed on BTN2Go.

Originally from Detroit, Myckowiak graduated from Michigan State in May 2019 with a dual major in the Residential College in the Arts & Humanities and Communication with a German minor.

Coach Mox on Myckowiak:
“David is an amazing hire for our GA/Video Coordinator position. He is a student of the game and looks at video from a coach’s view point. He is very hard-working and dedicated. He was my video manager at Michigan State and truly understands what I am looking for when it comes to film, scouting, and player development.”
