Was a 6A first-team all-state performer for his last three seasons at Lawrence (Kan.) High School where he averaged 28.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game as a senior in 2023-24 for coach Nick Wood ... Was also named the Sunflower League Player of the Year and area player of the year as a junior and senior ... His junior season, he averaged 24.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game while hitting at a 37-percent clip from 3-point range ... Earned the DiRenna Award and was part of a 17-5 Lions squad that advanced to the sub-state finals in 2022-23 ... During his sophomore season, he averaged 19.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.9 steals per game, while shooting 76.5 percent at the free throw line and 45.2 percent from the field with 42 threes for a 17-5 Lions squad ... Lawrence was 21-2 and finished third in the state his freshman season ... Was part of the KC Run GMC summer program.
