Biography

Professional
Since leaving Missouri State, Weems has played seven seasons in professional basketball, signing with Tofas Bursa (BSL) in Turkey for 2018-19. He also played the previous two seasons in Turkey at Besiktas in the BSL. In 31 games in 2017-18, he averaged 8.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals while helping Besiktas to the Turkish Cup Semifinals. Besiktas played in the Turkish league finals in 2017. He also played 16 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 8.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. He previously played professionally in France (SIG Strasbourg and JSF Nanterre) and Germany (BBC Bayreuth and Telekom Baskets). Weems received Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Honorable Mention honors in 2016.

Weems also played in the NBA Summer League in 2012 and 2013 for the Warriors, Raptors and Hawks.

In the spring of 2012, he participated in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament where he averaged 13.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and a tournament-high 3.3 steals.
