After a three-year high school career, Cooper reclassified in the summer of 2019 to come to Missouri State ... The four-star standout played for coach Jeff McInnis and Team Charlotte at the Under Armour Association in his final prep summer … He is coming off a junior prep season that saw him lead coach Joshua Coley’s Falcons to a 17-13 overall record and perfect 7-0 ledger in conference play at United Faith Christian Academy in Charlotte, N.C. where he averaged 7.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists .... 247Sports.com and Rivals both ranked Cooper as a four-star recruit for the class of 2020 and one of the top 100 players overall in that same class ... played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Carmel Christian School in his hometown of Matthews, N.C. ...
