Biography
As Thurman[apos]s game continues to evolve, so does MSU[apos]s success. The junior has what Coach Lusk calls 'game changing' scoring ability, and with 8 or more points in four of his last seven games in 2013-14, Thurman looks poised for a breakout season.

Improved greatly for his sophomore season, snagging 58 rebounds and knocking down 25 3-pointers while seeing action in 29 games ... Made 22 of his last 24 free throws to end season ... Averaged 12.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game as a senior with 41 three pointers ... Averaged 13.0 points in five substate and state tournament games ... Falcons defeated Blue Valley North, 73-61, at Koch Arena in Wichita, in the state finals ... Was prep teammates with Kansas signee Perry Ellis who was named national prep player of the year ...
