Made his only appearance of the 2024 season in home win over Southern Illinois (11/2/24) to preserve his redshirt season ... Booted a 65-yard kickoff into the endzone for a touchback in the SIU game in his only kick attempt ... Earned spot on MVFC Honor Roll ...  Named to MSU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.

High School
A four-sport standout at Logan-Rogersville High School, McDonald was a second-team all-state kicker as a senior (2023) for the Wildcats while earning all-region, all-district and All-Big 8 Conference honors as a junior and senior ... His senior year, he converted 6-of-10 field goals (long 45) and 19-of-21 extra points with 29 touchbacks on 39 kickoffs (63.6 average) ... Also averaged 40.46 yards on 33 punts with 15 downed inside the 20 ... As a junior, he made a 45-yard FG and converted 11-of-11 extra points with 14 touchbacks on 28 kickoffs ... Was also a two-time all-state soccer player who earned all-region, all-district and all-conference laurels all four years ... He wrapped his prep soccer career with 94 goals and 41 assists in 100 career games ... Was also a varsity standout in basketball and golf, placing in the top 10 at the district and conference meets his senior year.
