Colin Biegas returned to Missouri State in June of 2026 as the head athletic trainer for football. He previously served as a graduate assistant trainer for the Bears from 2021 to 2023, working primarily with football.
He also worked with the basketball and beach volleyball teams at Mo State during his previous stop in Springfield.
He later joined the Lamar University Sports Medicine Staff in July of 2023 as an assistant athletic trainer where he served until the summer of 2026. His primary responsibilities at Lamar were to manage the health care of the Cardinals’ football team.Â
Prior to arriving in Beaumont, Texas, he spent two years at North Carolina Central University as an intern athletic trainer. During his time in Durham, he worked primarily with the Eagles' football and men’s basketball programs.Â
He is a 2016 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, spending time in clinical settings with Blue Raiders football and women's soccer as well as Vanderbilt baseball. He later earned his Master of Science in Kinesiology from Missouri State in 2023.Â
Originally from Shelbyville, Tenn., Biegas is a nationally certified athletic trainer and member of the National Athletic Training Association.
