A three-sport standout at Liberty (Mo.) North High School, Baker earned All-Suburban Red Conference honors at three different positions as a senior for coach Ken Clemmens ... Despite playing just two years of high school football, Baker excelled at tight end for the Eagles in 2016, picking up unanimous first-team all-conference recognition to go along with second-team honors as both a punter and linebacker ... Started his junior season, despite not playing since the seventh grade, and helped to a 9-3 record, conference title and state playoff run ... Also competed in wrestling, baseball and track and field.
