Helped lead coach Darrell Barbay’s Bulldogs to a 10-3 campaign in 2016 and also earned academic all-district distinction ... As a junior, he started and earned all-district honors ... Was also a standout basketball player at Jasper, averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds a game his senior year and 15 points as a junior with all-district honors in 2015-16 ... Was named MVP of five different basketball tournaments his final two seasons.
