Kilgore College: Was a second-team all-conference outside linebacker in 2017 at Kilgore (Texas) College after helping coach J.J. Eckert’s Rangers to a 5-4 campaign … Posted 53 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks as a sophomore … Stopped 38 ball carriers as a freshman for a 6-5 KC team.

High School: Earned all-district and all-conference honors for coach Bryan Koch as a senior at Francis Howell High in suburban St. Louis in 2015 … Also played wide receiver for the Vikings and was a three-year standout in track and field.
