Final Stroke-Play Results
TEXARKANA, Ark. -- Missouri State sophomore
Jonathan Jordan fired a one-under-par 71 in Wednesday's (Apr. 29) final round of the Conference USA Men's Golf Championship to nab low honors for the Bears in the stroke-play portion of the tournament. Jordan shot 71-76-71--218 at Texarkana Country Club to finish tied for 34th in the field to lead the way for MoState.
The Bears finished 11th in the team standings after posting 304-302-312--918 and missed out on a slot in the match play part of the tournament that will decide the conference champion. Those berths went to UTEP, which squeaked by New Mexico State for the top seed, 833-835, and Liberty and Middle Tennessee, which tied for third.

Owen Swearingen placed second for MSU and 48th overall after carding 78-77-76--231, while senior
Christian Rischer shot 76-76-83--235 to finish 50th. Freshman
Noah Naugle posted 79-75-83--237, one better than freshman
Pedro Gallegos, who had 81-75-82--238.Â
