DALLAS – Missouri State forward
Keith Palek III has been named to Conference USA's men's basketball All-Academic Team, the league announced Thursday.
The senior from Woodbine, N.J. is averaging 18.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game for the Bears this season to go with 104 assists and 36 three-pointers.
He holds a 3.67 grade-point average in post-graduate studies while pursuing his Master's in Business Administration at Missouri State University.
He is joined on the five-man team by fellow seniors Julius Mims of New Mexico State, Veljko Ilic of Sam Houston, Colin Porter of Liberty, and sophomore Christian Bliss of Delaware. Mims is a three-time member of the CUSA All-Academic Team.
The league's remaining postseason men's basketball awards list is set for release on Monday.
