The Bears will open the 2026-27 season and their 17-game home slate on Tuesday, Nov. 3 (7 p.m.) when they entertain in-state foe Lincoln University at Great Southern Bank Arena.
Under coach Cuonzo Martin, Missouri State made a seven-win improvement in 2025-26 from the previous season, making a run to the Conference USA Tournament semifinals after upsetting top-seeded Liberty in the event's quarterfinals. The Bears return two backcourt starters and three lettermen for Martin's third season back with the program.
Meanwhile, the Lady Bears will host an exhibition game against Missouri Southern State University on Wednesday, Oct. 28 (6:30 p.m.), before welcoming in-state foe Southeast Missouri State to Great Southern Bank Arena on Monday, Nov. 2 (6:30 p.m.) to get the regular season underway.
Head coach Beth Cunningham and the Lady Bears are coming off a 23-13 season that saw Missouri State win its first-ever Conference USA Tournament championship and advance to the program's 18th NCAA Tournament. It marked the 11th straight postseason appearance and ninth-straight 20-win season for Mo State. The Lady Bears return seven players from a season ago and welcome a group of seven newcomers that features four freshmen and three transfers.
Season tickets are also still available for purchase for the 2026-27 season for both squads.
