DALLAS - Missouri State beach volleyball players
Becca Bach and
Amanda Cleary were each named to the 2025 Conference USA Beach Volleyball All-Academic Team, the conference
announced on Friday. League commissioner Judy MacLeod also announced the 2024-25 CUSA
Commissioner's Honor Roll and
Academic Medal recipients. A total of 19 Bears enrolled at Missouri State in the last academic year made the honor roll, with 10 of those student-athletes also earning the academic medal.
Bach and Cleary represent two of the 10 student-athletes selected to the all-academic team, with nominees submitted by academic advisors across the conference. Nominees must have a 3.2 cumulative GPA, at least a sophomore standing in school and be a starter or key reserve on the squad to be eligible for the all-academic team.
Cleary (Jr., Barrington, Illinois) made her first career all-academic appearance with a 3.83 GPA while majoring in nursing, making her eligible for both the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal and Honor Roll. Cleary entered this weekend of competition with a season record of 15-5 at Flight No. 2.
Bach (Sr., Clearwater, Florida) also earned her first all-academic nod with a 3.65 GPA while studying cell & molecular biology. She was also named to the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll. Bach entered this week with a 16-5 record at Flight No. 1.

Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and have completed at least one academic semester at the institution in either spring 2024 or fall 2024. Recipients of the Commissioner's Academic Medal maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better and have completed at least one academic semester at the institution in either spring 2024 or fall 2024.
