OZARK, Mo. - Missouri State beach volleyball was once again perfect over the weekend in its second tournament of the season and final one at Volleyball Beach Ozark. The Bears started the weekend with 5-0 wins in rematches Friday against Southwest Baptist and Lindenwood. On Saturday, MoState swept Hendrix College and Central Arkansas to improve to 8-0.

Last weekend (4-0)
- Missouri State won every set at all five flights in all four matches over the weekend. The Bears have won 80 of the 82 sets played this season (.976).Â
- Becca Bach and Allyson Larkin swept all four of their matches at Flight No. 1, including the rematches against SBU's Lexie Schauffler and Chandler Lawerence and Lindenwood's Nyah Wilson and Abby VanBuskirk. The eight straight wins by Bach and Larkin mark the longest winning streak at No. 1 in team history.
- At Flight No. 2, MacKenzie Steele and Amanda Cleary won their rematches against SBU's Reagan Hoerning and Addi Fanning as well as Lindenwood's Abby Jacobs and Annalie McWhorter.Â
- Rylie Cepicky and Manuela Niemeyer also kept their perfect season alive, starting with rematch wins against Logan Drennan and Madison Satterly of Southwest Baptist and Gabby Belcher and Taylor Gentemann of Lindenwood. Niemeyer became the second player in program history to reach 20 wins at No. 4. Larkin had 25 at No. 4 last season.
- Olivia Rattler and Erin Eschleman played all four matches together last week after playing the final three as a pair in the opening tournament. Rattler and Eschleman won every set of every match, including in the rematches against SBU's Dylan Cochran and Briley Bagley and Lindenwood's Aubrey Sheppard and Rebecca Janke.
"It's been an amazing start to the season," Larkin said. "It's awesome to see our team continue to thrive. There is a fight and competitiveness in everyone and I think that's what stands out on our team. I'm very excited to continue this partnership with Becca to help make her last year the best year."
All-Time Wins List
- Rattler became the all-time career wins leader in Missouri State history over the weekend. Her four wins last week elevated her to be the first player to reach 50. She surpassed previous record-holder Brooke Plessner's 48 wins she accumulated up to last season.
- Steele moved from sixth to fourth on the all-time list, surpassing longtime duo Grace Cook (39) and Chloe Tome (38).Â
- Niemeyer (38) is now tied with Tome for sixth on the all-time list. Schrandt (35) moved past Olivia Muriel (33) and sits eighth all-time. Larkin is now tied with Muriel for ninth.

Missouri State beach volleyball will be off this upcoming weekend before its first road tournament of the season. The Bears will play in the North Alabama Invitational in Florence, Alabama where they will play Austin Peay, North Alabama, Tennessee - Chattanooga and Tusculum on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15.
