
STUNT Announces Inaugural Tournament Schedule

SPRINGFIELD - Missouri State STUNT head coach Kennedy Wingbermuehle formally announced the team's inaugural season tournament schedule on Thursday.Â
"I am excited to start our inaugural season as a program at Missouri State," Wingbermuehle said. "I cannot thank our support staff and administration enough for their dedication to the success of this program. I have a great group of athletes who have given me the honor of watching them learn and understand this new and amazing sport. I am looking forward to watching these athletes finally take the floor and fall in love with this sport."
The Bears will ring in the 2025 season at the Dallas Baptist Tournament starting on Feb. 7 against Oklahoma Baptist at 12:15 p.m. and California Baptist at 2:45 p.m. Missouri State will close its first-ever tournament the following day against Texas at 11 a.m. and conclude against Michigan State at 7:45 p.m.
MoState will take on three opponents the following week at the Oklahoma Baptist Tournament. The Bears will battle crosstown rival Drury on Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. They will then take Oklahoma State on Feb. 16 at 4:30 p.m., followed by a rematch with host Oklahoma Baptist at 5:45 p.m.
Missouri State will travel to Lexington, Kentucky to compete at the historic Memorial Coliseum for the Midwest Showdown hosted by the University of Kentucky. The Bears will open the tournament on Feb. 28 against Missouri Valley College at 4 p.m. and host Kentucky at 5 p.m. The second day of the tournament on March 1 will see the Bears take on Michigan State at 10 a.m. and rematch Missouri Valley at 11 a.m.
The Bears will come closer to home starting on March 7-8 for the Central Arkansas Tournament in Conway. Missouri State will dual Kentucky again to start the tournament at 3 p.m., followed by taking on Maryville at 6:30 p.m. MoState will face host Central Arkansas at 10:15 a.m. and end the tournament against Southwest Baptist at 2:30 p.m.
Missouri State will spend the final two tournaments of the regular season in Tennessee starting with the UT Martin Tournament on March 15-16. The Bears will play Central College at 12:15 p.m. and Northern Kentucky at 4:30 p.m. on the tournament's opening day. The Bears will then face host UT Martin and rematch Central Arkansas at 11:15 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
Staying in Tennessee, the Bears will head to Nashville for a tournament hosted by Trevecca Nazarene University on March 28-29. Missouri State will get another crack at California Baptist at 8 a.m. and Northern Kentucky at 12:40 p.m. on March 28. The regular season portion of the schedule will conclude with Mercyhurst at 8 a.m. and host Trevecca at 4:10 p.m. on March 29.
Missouri State will compete in the Mid America West Conference Tournament back at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, on April 4-5.
