
Day Wins MVC Goalkeeper of the Week For the Third Time

ST. LOUIS – Camielle Day has been named Missouri Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for the third time this season the league announced Tuesday.
Day leads the conference in shutouts. Last week she recorded two more shutouts against Valparaiso and UIC. Nationally, she is tied for 19th in shutouts with six so far this year.
The senior goalkeeper earned her first MVC honor on Aug. 29 and her second on Sept. 20. Day has the most MVC honors of any women's soccer player. She is also the only goalkeeper this season to win repeat awards.
The Bears are at home on Thursday to play Drake at 7:00 p.m. The game will be shown on ESPN+ and live stats will be available.
