In high school, Green left Kickapoo High School (Springfield, Mo.) as the all-time leading scorer in 2021 with 1,764 career points and was a three-time All-State selection. As a senior at Kickapoo, Green averaged 19.5 points and 12.1 rebounds per game while shooting 60 percent from the floor. She was named the 2021 Missouri Class 6 Player of the Year and the Ozarks Conference Player of the Year, helping lead her team to a 28-3 record and a state championship finals appearance in her final season.
Â
Cunningham on Green:
"Indya will impact our team with her versatility and her ability to score and rebound the basketball. She had a great freshman year at Moberly and we are looking forward to seeing her continue to develop and build on that next year with us. She is a high-motor player who has proven to be an efficient offensive player, while also playing with a toughness on defense. She knows how to win and we love the fact that she is a Springfield kid."
