SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State's women's basketball team will head to Puerto Rico to take part in this year's San Juan Shootout, it was announced this week. 

MSU is one of 10 teams traveling to the tournament, scheduled for November 26-27. The Lady Bears will take on Virginia Tech at 9 a.m. CT on Friday, November 26 before concluding their tournament with a matchup against LSU at 11:15 a.m. CT on Saturday, November 27. 

The Lady Bears are coming off a 23-3 year in which they went undefeated in conference play (16-0) and advanced to their second consecutive NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
