ST. LOUIS – Missouri State offensive tackle
Landon Bebee (Webb City, Mo.) was named as Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Â
Bebee was instrumental in Missouri State's road win at Illinois State this week, as the Bears amassed a season-high 513 yards of total offense on 65 plays without allowing any sacks on 27 passing plays. Bebee recorded a 98-percent assignment grade; a 94-percent effort grade; and a 90-percent technique grade by the coaching staff for the week, while not allowing any pressures or sacks to help the Bears win in Normal for the first time since 2012.
Â
A Preseason All-MVFC selection and co-captain this season, Bebee is a fourth-year squad member.
Â
Bebee's honor comes on the heels of running back
Tobias Little (Atlanta, Ga.) earning MVFC Â Offensive Player of the Week honors on Sunday. Bebee is now the seventh Missouri State player to be honored by the conference this season, but the team's first Offensive Lineman of the Week.
Â
The Bears are back in action this week at Youngstown State (1 p.m.) before returning to Plaster Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 16 for a homecoming clash against Indiana State.
