
Lady Bears to Receive Championship Rings, Celebrate 2019-20 Season Oct. 13 at JQH

SPRINGFIELD – Before turning the page to the upcoming season in a few weeks, the Missouri State Lady Bears will celebrate an historic 2019-20 campaign and receive their Missouri Valley Conference championship rings on Oct. 13 at JQH Arena.
The 6 p.m. event is open to the public and will feature a ring ceremony, season highlights, and a look back at the many accomplishments for a Lady Bears team that finished 26-4 overall, went 16-2 in MVC play as the outright regular season champions, and ended the year ranked 19th in the USA Today Coaches Poll and 23rd by the Associated Press.
Head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton will also introduce new members of her team and coaching staff as part of a 2020-21 season preview.
Masks are required inside the arena, social distancing will be observed with seating, and no concessions will be available.
