Final Results
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Missouri State women's golf finished in eighth at the 12th-annual Johnie Imes Invitational, hosted by Missouri. The Bears posted scores of 309, 299 and 299, respectively, to finish with a team score of 907 (+43) at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Mo.

Sophomore
Abby Cavaiani (Wales, Wis.) led the Bears with a score of 218 (+2), ending the competition in eighth. This is her third top-10 finish of the season, the first at which came last month at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial (3rd).

Rounding out the Bears in team competition were sophomore
Brooke Newell (74-79-79) and freshman
Johanna Wollenhaupt (79-80-73), both sharing the 48th spot. In addition, sophomore
Faith Belmear (84-74-76) tied for 54th, while sophomore
Allison Bray (85-73-77) tied for 59th.

Bridget Schulte, competing individually, shot 78-81-80 (+23) to finish the tournament in 68th.

Host Missouri (868) took home its sixth-straight team title, ahead of second place Oral Roberts (875) by seven strokes. Fresno State (881) finished third, while FIU (889) and NIU (892) rounded out the top five.

Missouri State women's golf will be back in action Oct. 20-22 at the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
