SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State fans can get a glimpse of the 2019-20 Bears and Lady Bears basketball teams on Homecoming morning when the teams host an open practice beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Hammons Student Center.

The free event is open to the public and will feature the Bears and Lady Bears each conducting 20-minute intrasquad scrimmages, preseason drills, and interacting with fans. Doors open at 9:45 a.m.

Due to street closures associated with the Band of Bears Homecoming Parade, fans are encouraged to enter campus from the west to access Hammons Student Center for the basketball preview.

Coming off their NCAA Sweet Sixteen run, the Lady Bears open the exhibition season on Monday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. against Lincoln University in their first of two preseason contests at JQH Arena.

The Bears, who are the preseason favorites to win the Missouri Valley, will take on Washington University at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30 in their only preseason scrimmage contest.
