Bears' head coach Dana Ford returns a pair of All-Missouri Valley Conference starters and six lettermen in all from a 16-16 club of a year ago. The Bears also welcome six newcomers to the fold with three additional transfers gaining eligibility after sitting out last season to satisfy NCAA requirements.

New head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton has four starters and 12 total players returning from a 25-10 club that won the MVC Tournament title before making its well-chronicled run to the NCAA Sweet 16 last season.
