The Missouri State Lady Bears are set to meet in-state rival Missouri for the seventh consecutive season on Tuesday in a 7 p.m. game in Columbia.
   The Lady Bears dropped their season opener in overtime at Wichita State on Saturday, while the Tigers, ranked as high as 14th in the national polls, are 1-0 after a win at Western Illinois.
   Missouri State has 19 wins over top-25 opponents in its history, including six in true road games.
   MSU makes its home debut on Nov. 17 against Ball State, the only home game for the Lady Bears in November.

Series History
Missouri State trails 20-10 in the all-time series, though only 10 games have been
played since 1990. The teams have played in each of the last six seasons, with Mizzou winning the last three meetings after the Lady Bears claimed victories in 2013 in Springfield and 2014 in Kansas City. MSU's last win in Columbia was a 79-70 victory on Dec. 10, 2003.

Scouting Missouri
Missouri is 1-0 and entered the 2018-19 campaign with preseason rankings of 16th in the AP poll and 14th in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The Tigers are picked to finish fifth in the Southeastern Conference this season, with senior All-American Sophie Cunningham leading the way. Cunningham entered her final year already ranked in the top 10 or seven career offensive categories at MU. The Tigers return 10 players and three starters from last year's club that 24-8 overall, 11-5 in the SEC and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
