Missouri State Golf Wraps Up Regular Season at Dale McNamara

Gimmy remains consistent in regular season finale

The Missouri State women's golf team posted their best scores in round three of the Dale McNamara Invitational with three Bears individually doing their best of the tournament. Host Tulsa (881) finished first in the 9-team field and outshot day one leader New Mexico State (886) by five to grab the lead in round three. The Bears put up a valiant effort on day two but could not overcome their day one scores and finished five points behind eighth place Cincinatti (936).

Junior Verena Gimmy remained the most consistent Bear, shooting 74-76-79--229 to tie for 22nd and lead the team all three rounds. Rachel Johnson's four-over-par round three moved her up to 33rd with an individual total of 77-83-74--234. Ashley Childers and Ryan Pate tied for 45th with 84-83-75--242 and 85-81-76--242 respectively. Senior Lindsey Eisenreich shot 84-78-83--245 over the two days.
