"Our camp for young players is an exciting time to teach the fundamentals of this great game," Steckel said. "I strongly encourage that you attend our youth camp (1-8) or our prospect camp (9-12). Our team camp is an excellent chance for teams get an opportunity to work at our fine facilities, which host the state championships."
MSU Football Camps begin with the June 3 Youth Camp for young cubs entering grades 1-8. The camp is a one-day event full of fun, fundamentals and competition. The cost of the camp is $50 per person via online registration. In-person registration on the day of the camp is $60. Registration and check-in will start at 9 a.m., at Plaster Stadium.

On June 11, high school students entering grades 9-12 will have an opportunity to put their skills on display for the One-Day Prospect Camp. It is a comprehensive, instructional opportunity with emphasis on individual techniques and fundamentals. Kickers, punters and long snappers are welcome. Helmets, shoulder pads and cleats are required. Pads may be rented on site for just $10. Registration and check-in will start at 10 a.m. in Forsythe Athletic Center.
