Weekly Notes:

· Missouri State will compete in two of six scheduled nonconference meets this week with ten athletes traveling to the 88th Clyde Little Field Texas Relays and the remainder of the Missouri State track & field team competing in the Arkansas Spring Invitational.

· Competing in Austin in individual events will be: Shani Adams (400H), Oarabile Babolayi (110H, 400H), Robiann Broomfield (LJ, TJ), Shavonne Husbands (100m), Marissa Kurtimah (100m), and Holly Pattie-Belleli (100H)

· Competing in Austin in relay events will be: Chelsey Borders, Kadisha Francois, Althia Maximilien, and Rosalie Pringle. The four will be entered into the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, and 1600 Sprint Medley Relays.

· Various events of the Texas Relays can be watched live on the Longhorn Network, ESPN3.com, or the WatchESPN app. Broadcasters Paul Sunderland (play-by-play), Dwight Stones (analyst), Larry Rawson (analyst) and Sean Adams (field reporter) will announce the meet.

· For the Bears making the trip to Fayetteville, Ark., this will be the first of three scheduled appearances at John McDonnell Field this outdoor season. The John McDonald Invitational (Apr. 10-11) and the Arkansas Twilight (May 1) are both on the 2015 slate.

· Six career bests and five season bests highlighted last year's Arkansas Spring Invitational.

· The Missouri Valley Conference Championships is scheduled for May 15-17, 2015, in Bloomington, Ill.
