SPRINGFIELD - Missouri State is offering a number of women's basketball promotions for the team's final home weekend of the season. The Lady Bears host UNI on Friday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m., and close the home slate with a 2 p.m. contest against Drake on Sunday, March 1.
MSU Staff and Faculty Discounts
Tickets for Missouri State faculty and staff will be $3 for the final two home games. Discounted tickets may be purchased only at the JQH Arena box office during regular hours, no phone or internet orders will be taken. There is no limit on the number of tickets that can be bought, and a Missouri State ID is required at the time of purchase.
Kids Night
Friday's game is Kids Night at JQH Arena. All kids 12 and under will be admitted free to Friday's game with the purchase of an adult ticket. Adult tickets are discounted to $4. Several games and activities will take place before the game in the Kids Zone, and there will be a postgame autograph session with the Lady Bears. Cooper Farms and Second Baptist Church will also be sponsoring collectible MSU team trading cards for all kids in attendance, as supplies last. Play4Kay Friday is the annual Play4Kay game, as schools around the country raise awareness for breast cancer. Among the many activities include country music artist Candy Coburn singing "Pink Warrior" at halftime. Breast cancer survivors in attendance are invited to the floor for the halftime show. Additionally, Missouri State's pink jerseys worn during the game, as well as pink jerseys designed for each coach, will be auctioned off. The American Cancer Society will have a table on concourse to provide information to fans.
Senior Day
The Lady Bears will conclude the 2014-15 home schedule on March 1 against Drake at 2 p.m. The team's lone senior,
NiJay Gaines, will be honored prior to the game.
